    2. Orders

Orders may be placed through our website or by contacting us directly, depending on the product or service.

When placing an order, customers are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied to us is correct, including:

    - Names and spellings

    - Sizes

    - Colours

    - Quantities

    - Logos

    - Artwork

    - Personalisation details

    - Contact and collection details

Once an order has been confirmed and payment has been received, we may begin preparing the order.

Customers should carefully check their order before payment is made.

    3. Payment

Full payment is required upfront before we begin work on an order.

We will not normally begin production until full payment has been received.

Prices will be confirmed at the time of ordering and will include applicable taxes where required.

Where additional work or costs become necessary because of changes requested by the customer after an order has been confirmed, we may require additional payment before carrying out that work.

    4. Personalised and Bespoke Items

Personalised items include, but are not limited to:

    - Names

    - Initials

    - Logos

    - School leavers' designs

    - Custom embroidery

    - Custom printing

    - Bespoke artwork

    - Other customer-requested personalisation

Customers are responsible for checking all personalisation details before submitting their order.

Personalised or bespoke items cannot normally be cancelled or returned simply because the customer has changed their mind or no longer wants the item, subject to any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

This does not affect your statutory rights where an item is faulty, incorrectly supplied, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

    5. Customer Artwork and Logos

Customers may provide their own artwork, logos or designs for embroidery or printing.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights and permissions to use any artwork, logo, photograph, wording, trademark or other material supplied to us.

By submitting artwork to us, the customer confirms that they have the right to allow us to use that material for the purpose of fulfilling their order.

We are not responsible for any claim arising from a customer's unauthorised use of third-party intellectual property.

Where a logo or design is particularly complex, we will advise the customer on the most suitable method of production. This may include recommending changes to the artwork, embroidery, printing or another production method.

Where artwork needs to be altered or prepared for production, we may discuss any additional costs with the customer before proceeding.

    6. Colours, Artwork and Finished Products

Customers acknowledge that colours displayed on a computer, tablet or mobile screen may differ slightly from the actual colour of the finished product.

Embroidery and printing are physical production processes and the final result may have minor variations from digital artwork or screen representations.

We will make reasonable efforts to reproduce approved artwork accurately.

    7. Schoolwear and School Uniforms

Schoolwear and uniform orders should be checked carefully before payment, particularly with regard to:

    - Garment type

    - Size

    - Colour

    - Name

    - Personalisation

    - Quantity

School uniform items cannot normally be returned or refunded simply because the customer has changed their mind or ordered an unsuitable item.

However, if an item is faulty, incorrectly supplied or does not conform to the contract, the customer's statutory rights will apply.

    Schoolwear Size Exchanges

We understand that choosing the correct schoolwear size can sometimes be difficult.

Where an incorrect size has been ordered, we may offer an exchange, subject to the following:

    - The item must be in its original, unused and saleable condition.

    - Personalised items may not be eligible for exchange where the personalisation prevents the item from being resold.

    - The customer may be responsible for any difference in price between replacement items.

    - Exchange requests should be made as soon as reasonably possible after collection.

An exchange is a goodwill arrangement and does not affect the customer's statutory rights.

    8. Workwear

Workwear is available for individuals, businesses and organisations.

Customers are responsible for selecting the correct size before ordering.

Workwear sizes cannot be exchanged where the customer has simply ordered the wrong size.

This does not affect statutory rights where the item is faulty, incorrectly supplied or not as described.

Where workwear is personalised with embroidery or printing, it is considered a personalised/bespoke item and cannot normally be returned because the customer has changed their mind.

    9. Customer's Own Garments or Items

Customers may, by prior agreement, provide their own garments or items for embroidery or printing.

Customers provide their own items entirely at their own risk.

Bees Embroidery and Print will not accept responsibility for damage, shrinkage, colour changes, marks, stitching issues, material failure or any other damage to customer-supplied items arising during the embroidery or printing process.

Customers should only provide items that are suitable for the requested process.

We will use reasonable care when handling customer-supplied items; however, because we cannot guarantee how a particular garment, fabric or item will react to embroidery or printing, we cannot guarantee the condition of the item after processing.

    10. Turnaround Times

Our standard turnaround time is up to 14 working days, unless a different timeframe has been agreed with the customer.

The turnaround period normally begins once:

    1. Full payment has been received; and

    2. We have received all information, artwork, sizes and other details required to complete the order.

Turnaround times may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including supplier delays, shortages, equipment failure or other unforeseen circumstances.

We will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed if there is a significant delay.

    11. Collection and Delivery

Our standard service is collection only.

Customers will be informed when their order is ready for collection.

Where delivery of workwear is available, this is provided on request and may be subject to an additional delivery charge.

Any delivery charge and estimated delivery timeframe will be agreed with the customer before delivery takes place.

Where a specific delivery date has been agreed, we will make reasonable efforts to meet it.

    12. Checking Orders on Collection

Customers should check their order as soon as reasonably possible after collection.

If there is a problem with an order, including an apparent manufacturing fault or an item that is not what was ordered, customers should contact us promptly so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, put the matter right.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes any statutory consumer rights.

    13. Faulty, Incorrect or Misdescribed Items

We want every customer to be satisfied with their order.

If an item is faulty, damaged before it was supplied to you, incorrectly supplied or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible.

Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund under applicable UK consumer law.

Our Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

    14. Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

    Personalised Items

Personalised and bespoke items are not normally eligible for a refund where the customer has changed their mind or no longer requires the item.

This does not apply where the item is faulty, incorrectly supplied or otherwise fails to meet the customer's statutory rights.

    School Uniform

School uniform items are not normally eligible for a refund simply because the customer has changed their mind or selected the wrong item or size.

Where an incorrect size has been ordered, we may offer an exchange in accordance with Section 7 above.

Faulty or incorrectly supplied school uniform will be dealt with in accordance with the customer's statutory rights.

    Workwear

Workwear cannot normally be exchanged or refunded because the customer has ordered the incorrect size.

This does not affect statutory rights relating to faulty, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods.

    Goodwill Refunds

Where we agree to provide a refund as a gesture of goodwill in circumstances where we are not legally required to provide one, a restocking/administration fee of up to 20% may be deducted, provided this is fair and reasonable in the circumstances.

This fee will not be used to restrict or remove any statutory refund rights.

    15. Cancellation of Online Orders

Where applicable, consumers purchasing goods online may have statutory cancellation rights.

However, certain personalised or made-to-order goods may be excluded from the usual cancellation right where the law permits.

Where a statutory cancellation right applies, we will provide the relevant cancellation information and process cancellations and refunds in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to remove or restrict a legal right to cancel that applies to your order.

    16. Intellectual Property

All original designs, artwork, photographs, graphics, text, branding and other materials created by Bees Embroidery and Print remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers must not copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially use our original designs or materials without our written permission.

Where customers supply their own artwork or logos, ownership remains with the customer or the relevant rights holder.

    17. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits your statutory consumer rights or our liability for matters that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Where you supply your own garment or item, our responsibility is subject to Section 9 of these Terms and Conditions.

    18. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We will not be responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

    - Supplier delays

    - Material shortages

    - Equipment failure

    - Power outages

    - Severe weather

    - Fire

    - Flood

    - Industrial disputes

    - Government restrictions

    - Transport disruption

    - Other unforeseen events

Where such an event affects an order, we will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer and complete the order as soon as reasonably possible.

    19. Complaints

If you have a problem with your order or our service, please contact us first so that we have an opportunity to resolve the matter.

Please provide your order details and explain the issue clearly.

We aim to deal with complaints fairly and promptly.

    20. Business Customers

Where we provide embroidery, printing or workwear services to businesses, additional terms may be agreed between Bees Embroidery and Print and the business customer.

Where a separate written business agreement exists, that agreement will apply to the extent that it conflicts with these Terms and Conditions.

    21. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless applicable UK consumer law requires otherwise.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights a consumer may have under applicable law.

    22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The version applicable to an order will normally be the version in force at the time the order is placed.

Any changes will be published on our website.
